ANDREW G. SPICOLA
Andrew
G. Spicola is a Florida native who was born and raised in
Tampa. He attended H.B. Plant High School where he graduated
with honors, and was a member of the National Honor Society.
He attended The University of Florida where he earned his
bachelors of science degree in Finance, and was a member
of the Kappa Alpha Order. He received his Juris Doctorate
from Stetson University College of Law in just two and one
half years, and in his final semester, he interned with
the Office of the State Attorney, in the Thirteenth Judicial
Circuit.
Mr.
Spicola was admitted to practice in Florida in 1997, and
immediately began work as an Assistant State Attorney in
Hillsborough County. During his tenure with the Office of
the State Attorney, Mr. Spicola prosecuted all types of
crimes, and specialized in the prosecution of Drug Charges,
and Driving Under the Influence. He attained the level of
Lead Trial Attorney before resigning his position to enter
the private sector as a criminal defense attorney. Mr. Spicola
has handled thousands of cases, and has exclusively practiced
criminal law for eleven years.
